Looks like there is going to be no unified Collegiate League in 2008 between the NCAA and UAAP as the UAAP Board voted to reject the proposal formulated by SBP Executive Director, Patrick Gregorio.

Here’s an interesting bit of news. Patrick Gregorio, BAP-Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP), executive director, initiated some exploratory talks with UAAP 2008 Host School (Univ of the Philippines) and NCAA member Mapua, with regards to merging the two leagues for the 2008 season.
