Prior to the 2008 Nike Summer League Finals match between UE and ADMU. They announced the winners of the Mythical Five Team. They were:

1. Rico Maierhofer (DLSU)
2. PJ Barua (DLSU)
3. Pari Llagas (UE)
4. Mark Barroca (FEU)
5. Eric Salamat (ADMU)

Congrats to the winners.

During the Halftime, Mae(?) Dichupa, of Nike was interviewed and was asked what’s in store for the future of the Nike Summer League. She said that Nike will always support and provide a venue for the Collegiate teams to play in as preparation for their respective college leagues (or something to that effect.)

Thank You Nike for that support and for quenching the basketball addiction of the college fans who’ve been waiting almost 6 months for the games to begin. The nine week long Nike Summer League is a welcome respite for us fans.
