The Ateneo Blue Eagles started slow and trailed most of the game against UE. Despite UE’s effort to bury them with run after run that thwarted ADMU’s own run, they finally buckled down and squeaked past UE. Methodically they chipped away at UE’s lead with great plays from inside and out.

With 26 secs remaining in the fourth quarter, Iceman, Chris Tiu coldly curled off a pick and buried a long jumper to get the lead for Ateneo. Ateneo had 2 fouls to give so they fouled each inbound to waste away UE’s clock.

I think there should be a saying here: “He who run’s last, wins!” *snicker*

Truly an exciting game where people with heart problems aren’t encouraged to watch the replay.
I have to admire the nerves of Chris Tiu to nail a shot like that.
